A golf web site for the rest of us

GolfRave has roots that go back all the way to 1997 when a group of media professionals teamed up to create the consumer review web site, ViewOnline (www.viewonline.com). They're goal has always been to provide simple, "no frills" product reviews, staying away from confusing jargon and tech-speak.

ViewOnline's founders have applied that same principle to the creation of GolfRave.com.

GolfRave is the everyman's golf web site.
The founders love the game of golf, but were often frustrated by the golf sites they found online. Most focused on professional golfers, giving tips on how to work out "rough spots" on a nearly perfect swing. GolfRave is focused more on mid- to high handicappers, and provides product and course reviews, tips and tricks and just plain ol' encouragement to those of us who play solely for the love of the game. We won't all make it to a PGA tour, but in our hearts and our minds we're already there.
